An inclusive community building that supports children’s well being and breaks intergenerational cycles of violence and neglect. Roots of Empathy can be brought to public elementary schools in 4 school districts in Whatcom County next fall–a curriculum that is shown by research over the last 20 years around the world to increase emotional well-being and decrease bullying and aggression in grade school children.
