The Northwest Regional Council (NWRC) was created as a “grassroots” organization. Our roots go deep into our local region, building on the ideas, values, and strengths of our people. NWRC provides nursing and other jail health program administrative services in both facilities under contract with Whatcom County Jail and the Work Center. NWRC jail health staff coordinate with other medical providers and behavioral health staff to provide healthcare. You can find more about their services here.
