May Learning Session - Bearing Witness: AANHPI Advocacy for Immigrant and Refugee Communities

Our focus in this session is on promoting cross-cultural support for current immigrant communities, increasing awareness of AANHPI communities in the North Sound region, and building knowledge of AANHPI history and anti-Asian exclusion. By connecting history with present day actions, we can help protect the most vulnerable through informed action. Join us as we explore the rich history of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) communities and how their experiences inform today’s immigrant rights movements.

June Learning Session: Setting Sun Institute's Digital Heritage Library

Our Learning Session for June 2025 featured the staff Setting Sun Institute for an inspiring discussion about their work, including the Digital Heritage Library—a dynamic platform designed to share Indigenous knowledge and foster intercultural understanding. Rooted in values of stewardship, equity, and relationship, the library uplifts voices of the first stewards of the land and supports educators, researchers, and change-makers alike. Discover how this living archive is helping to preserve oral histories and reshape how we connect, learn, and grow together.
