This document highlights the
importance of transportation for American
Indian elders and identify innovative
approaches and resources for improving
transportation services for elders living on
reservations or other Indian lands throughout
the United States. It is a useful resource for State Departments
of Transportation, human services, health
programs and others that work to address the
mobility needs of American Indians, Alaska
Natives and Native Hawaiians.
